Frito Lay Chips and Dip Made for Each Other | The Inspiration Room™ | Daily.

These are so cute. Not sure how they inspire me to eat chips though. Makes me think libraries should take Ranganathan’s “Every book it’s reader” and do some videos along the same lines. That would be great.

Thanks to “e” for pointing this out to me.

Free Streaming Movie: Finisterre

Plexifilm — Movie of the Month: Finisterre

Plexifilm is showing the movie Finisterre free on streaming video this month (click on the link above to view). This is a nice little vid that has a soundtrack by the band St. Etienne. I like the style of the video and it takes you on tour around London. Good show.

Wolf vs. Grizzly

Video: Wolf-bear interaction at elk carcass | Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center (NoRock)

I am not a “dog” person per se… and I guess Grizzly Bears aren’t either. Watch the above link to a video showing why bears obviously aren’t “dog” people either.

How does this relate to libraries? Well it doesn’t really… I guess if it must then:

DON’T BRING YOUR WOLF IN THE LIBRARY… IT WILL ANNOY YOUR PATRON GRIZZLY BEARS

Fast Food Design

Thanks to Core 77 for pointing this out. This is innovative and scary at the same time. Also, a little – “duh why didn’t I think of that” – too.

I wonder if libraries can come up with something so groundbreaking?  Computers that dispense Starbucks? Books that act as taco trays? The possibilities are endless!  Where are my cutting edge librarian-types? The Col-Pop has got to inspire something!
