Less Busy…

Being busy and prioritizing my time, which in turn makes me neglect this blog, makes me think about customer service in the library. If this were a blog that was used as part of a promotional effort for a library it would be very negligent to choose not to post to it. A “library blog” is part of library customer service and outreach. I also have some faculty collection development blogs which I have ignored a little bit so I could have time to complete other projects.  In hindsight, this was perhaps not a very good idea. I wonder what other promotion efforts libraries do which “fade” due to time management issues that give a bad perception of the library to our patrons? Should we prioritize the patron or the workload? If you have thoughts let me know…
